We are finally home from the west coast!!!!!!!!! We left Friday, March 6 and just got home this morning. We are so grateful for such a wonderful trip. We had a chance to make some wonderful new friends and catch up with some old ones we have missed seeing tremendously.

We had been working feverishly trying to find a motorhome. Up until now we had been traveling, as most of you know, in our Ford Explorer towing a 4x6 trailer. We were all getting very cramped, especially since Bailey doesn't seem to understand that we need more space than she does! The day before we left, we got the call that we could go and pick up one in particular that we had been watching for several weeks. So Friday morning we headed out to pick up our new motor home! We got it paid for, titled, loaded, cleaned and left that night to head to Missouri to pick up Josh. WOW! She ran like a dream the whole trip. We had a few little snags here and there strictly due to the fact that she has sat more than anything for the last year. She sure did make this trip more comfortable, that's for sure. Make sure you go to the Glimpses of Life page and check her out. Jimmy calls her the "Tune Buggy" & Josh calls her the "Music City Miracle Buggy." I just call her "Praise the Lord!"

We took Josh to the airport and then we headed to see family that we haven't seen in years. For that matter, I had never met most of the people we went to see. Since Jimmy grew up in California, it would've been a shame to not see those of his family that live in that area. Of course, this also meant that Jimmy got to take me to some of his favorite restaurants in California. Well honey, I guess all I can say is, you win some & you lose some.

Jimmy also started a blog called "Life 'n Stuff." He has some great writings on there about things from the "Buggy" to my brother's wedding. Be sure to check it out. You can actually subscribe to it and it will send you an email every time he puts a new blog up.  

I am currently working on a few additions to the site. I've added some pictures from our trip west. Soon you will be able to go to the Life Story page and click on a member's name and it will take you to a page where you can find out more information about that member specifically. You will be able to find out what Jimmy's favorite dessert is or Josh's favorite restaurant or maybe even my favorite shoe line. HA! And of course I'm trying to put pictures up as often as I can. If you have pictures of us from anywhere we have sung, please email them to me at liz@mcmillanandlife.com. I'd love to see anything you have and I promise to post as much as I can.

We are looking forward to the Branson Gospel Music Convention July 14-17. I hope you've made plans to be there. McMillan & Life will be singing on the main stage so be watching the schedule to see which nights we will be on.

Then be sure to make plans for the National Quartet Convention   September 8-13 in Louisville, KY. This is the largest gathering in southern gospel and this year promises to be the biggest and best ever.
